Has anyone every successfully connected a Ring Video Doorbell Pro or a Doorbell 3 / Plus to the Nicor Prime Chime Plus? Did you use the Pro Power Kit.
I’ve tried to connect the Pro to the Prime Chime Plus and it blew it up when connecting the Pro Power Kit / Capacitor.
Hey @BobRinger. The Nicor Prime Chime Plus is on the list of incompatible chime kit in our Help Center Article here, so this would be why your’s is not working with the Doorbell Pro. In addition, you will always need to use a Pro Power Kit when installing the Doorbell Pro to an internal chime kit, and please ensure the chime kit you are using it with is a compatible one.
