We are building a home and had them hardwire a doorbell, we dont want a chime. There is a trasnformer there and thats it. How do i install the Pro? Do i need a resistor?
Good question @bchristie! This installation is considered “direct to transformer”. To accomplish this you will run one wire from the transformer, to the Pro Power Kit bypass, then another wire out from the Pro Power Kit bypass hole, to your Video Doorbell. The other wire coming from your transformer can be run straight to the Video Doorbell Pro. Check out our wiring diagrams for a visual on direct to transformer installation. I hope this helps! 
Thanks you. The transformer is in the basement so would the power pack go down there?
