Ring Doorbell 2 not recording motion

Our Ring Doorbell 2 isn’t recording anymore, it alerts to motion, but doesn’t record anything.

It’s set for linked motion with a floodlight cam and that’s working fine still.

Motion alerts and doorbell still works ok re basic doorbell function.

Ring floodlight cam has generally been ok, but the doorbell products seem hit and miss.

No changes on the firewall, nothing being denied.

Hi @mikeys! Is your Video Doorbell allowing connection to live video but not recording afterwards? If this is so, the best first thing to check will be your video subscription, or Protect Plan, to ensure it is still active.

I recommend also removing and reinstalling the Ring app, to ensure it is up to date and optimally integrated with your mobile device. Feel free to let us know how this goes! :slight_smile:
