Ring 2 Doorbell Video will not play

The doorbell detects and records motion. The videos appear in my History list. However, when I tap on them, the videos will not play. When I log into my account on my tablet, the videos play. Therefore, it has something to do with the app.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I have rebooted my phone (iPhone 11 pro). I have uninstalled and reinstalled the battery in the doorbell. Nothing works. What is going on?

Might be the Ring server.

Thanks. I thought it might be a server problem. My research showed Ring had similar problems last October. Thanks for the link to status as well. I didn’t know that existed.

My ring events keeps showing that recording does not exist, that recording was not active when event took place. This is ongoing, I haven’t turned my ring off, it was reset yesterday and everytime I click to view live, it shows it needs to activate.

Mine is doing the same, it must be the server, everything is working on my end, I thnk I would prefer videos to be stored on a computr in my house, gonna see if that is possible. Grrrr
