Plaque and Protection for my Ring Pro Video Doorbell

I wanted to share a picture of the plaque that I made for mounting my Ring Pro and the metal bands that were welded around it to prevent theft. I had to drill a hole in the ring cover plate where the reset button is located so that I could reset the system when required. I live in San Miguel de Allende and I wanted the system to fit in with the local architecture.

Hello @tsimpson ,

Wow, that’s an impressive looking doorbell!!

As a reminder, if someone ever manages to steal your doorbell (highly unlikely that way you attached it, LOL!) that Ring Support will replace it for free (with a police report).

I know some people still want extra theft protection, so for other people, that aren’t as capable as you to build their own “Anti-theft” setup:

I gotta say again, your doorbell is impressively Anti-theft!!!
