Here’s the thing that Ring needs to consider. Since a large amount of these orbs or insects showed up in different parts of the contry about the same time, even if it is insects, that would be the end of Ring sales.
Think about it. Who would buy a securty device that falsely wakes you up 3 times a night? Remember the story about the boy who cried wolf too many times? Pretty soon you get sick of the orbs or insects and disreguard them. Then a real security threat comes and you disreguard it also. No, even if it’s insect, Ring has to come up with a solution or loose business. Just my thoughts.
