No Audio on my Ring Doorbell 3

So half way through the day today my audio when my doorbell was recording would go through for the 1st second after preroll and then no audio at all.
Sometimes after preroll there still would be no audio.
I can ill afford to have these devices not recording let alone no audio.
At first I thought it might be my phone - till I log onto the website and discovered it was not my phone it was the device.
My safty and life depend on these cameras to work and they are proving to be more of a hassle than what I paid for them.
Help as I am left twisting in the wind - I have called twice before with different issues and repsaying that someone would contact me back = liars
I feel abondoned and need help desperately.

Sorry to hear about this @LadyAlicia, this is not the experience we intend. Audio connection concerns are often related to wifi, mobile device, or Ring app connection. The best first thing to check is your wifi signal strength, or RSSI, which can be found in the Device Health section of your Ring app. Check out our Community post about RSSI for tips on optimizing this signal strength.

Removing and reinstalling the Ring app is a quick way to ensure it is up to date and optimally integrated with your mobile device. On your mobile device, try testing audio on wifi only, and then on data only, to see if either connection is more efficient. As you mentioned also having video concerns, check out thispost for video troubleshooting steps.

If this concern persists, try another mobile device entirely, if possible. Please let us know how this goes! :slight_smile:
