I know it is possible to pause alerts using Motion Settings, and that I can snooze alerts with Motion Snooze. However, my Video Doorbell 2 runs on battery power only, and I have to replace the battery once every few days. I can’t use solar with it because it’s on a porch where it simply won’t receive enough sun. I don’t think I have a spot for it with sufficient direct sun.
My wife or myself are almost always home, so we’re only really concerned about motion detection at night. There appears to be no way to disable motion detection (not just alerts!) according to a schedule. That seems like a handy feature to me, and will spare my battery.
