DoS Smurf attack

As of late last night, my ring pro has been overwhelming my router with Smurf attack packets. Why would this just sudently start? How can this be corrected?

i have a smurf attack as well. found it in my night hawk router. and yes internet is spotty like a dos atatck.

whats the number.

ring customer service takes to long to be on hold. how about just tellig us what to do in the forum?
