It’s fairly easy to add the relay - Just use the power kit in bypass mode using the connector on the side and wire those two wires to the relay coil. The relay contacts then go to the door bell input on the nutone.
I added a screenshot of wiring. Note that the PPK in bypass mode is essentially in parallel with the relay coil terminals.
