This is an often requested feature that just makes sense. It doesn’t need to be on by default. Consumers can opt to have this feature enabled as it may not suite everyone. If it’s not a technical or hardware limitation, then Ring is sleeping on this one in my opinion. I own multiple ring cameras and the ring alarm and though Ring has made steps to advance their software and UI, there are still sometimes very slow to add obvious features and features that competitors have had for years that just seem like it should have been implemented a long time ago (i.e. geofencing, the ability to set schedules for indoor cameras, or even a simple way to turn on and off indoor cameras) . Come on Ring.
