Are customizable zones better than adjustable?

I just purchased and installed a Ring Video Doorbell 3. Don’t get me wrong, I love it! But when researching I didn’t realize this model didn’t offer customizable zones (something I really wanted). Now, I know I should’ve gotten the Ring Video Doorbell Pro for that. BUT my question is, should I? Are customizable motion zones better or worth switching Ring Doorbells, rather than having the adjustable zones? Does it matter?

Thanks for any help or responses!

Hey @Capncrunch203, happy to chime in here and offer some helpful information! You can check out this Help Center Article here, which goes over both forms of motion detection and how they work. Overall one is not better than the other, as it just depends on what you’re looking for and which device suits your preferences best. I hope that helps out!
