My floodlight wired is behaving strangely lately. When it senses motion, it comes on full brightness for a fraction of a second, then goes dim and slowly increases brightness over 10-15 seconds, occasionally getting brighter and dimmer. It also doesn’t seem as bright as it was originally.
Hey @Mdiorio. After running over your concern with the appropriate teams, they have let me know that the experience you have had is not as intended. They said you may see this odd behavior in the event of a wiring issue or defect of the product. The first steps to troubleshoot this concern would be to start with double checking the wire nuts and connection between house power and the floodlight. Please ensure that you turn the break or switch to the fixture off before doing any of this. If this concern persists after making these adjustments, there may be a component within the LED driver that is no longer functioning as it should. For this, please consult with an electrician or Ring support via phone for further guidance!
