spotlight cam unable to reset

I took out the two batteries for charging from my Spotlight Cam, and after charging it’s refusing to start up. I’ve confirmed that the batteries are definitely fully charged. The white light at the bottom doesn’t come on, and neither can I reset it by pressing the top button for 30 seconds.

There are red LEDs inside the unit that come on when the batteries are inserted.

Any help please?
