i want to know if i hard wire this light to an exsisting patio light box will i be able to opperate the light with the switch inside the house to light up the backyard
Hi @karlcantor! The Spotlight Cam Wired is designed to have constant power in order for the camera to record motion and for the lights to come on with motion. Having it connected to a switch that can turn on and off will turn off the device completely, as the lights only turn on with motion.
