light on spot light cam

Hello,

I would check all your settings via the ring app first. It may be due to the motion sensitivity being set to low and due to that the camera does not record all motion detections. I believe the spot light will still activate despite the motion being set to low.

I have eight of these cameras and none of them have turn on for 2 hours continously.

Perhaps call ring support for guidance if this does not work for you.
