Stick up cam wired 3rd gen with battery

I have the third gem stick up cam wired. I have also inserted a battery for backup use but I was wondering if the battery will be recharged if left in the camera when mains power is restored or should I remove it and charge it separately

Hey @iandsmjohnson. You will need to remove the battery from the Stick Up Cam in order to charge it. If your power is out and you notice the battery start to drain, you will need to remove the battery from the port and charge it for 8 hours to fully charge. Hope this helps clear it up for you!
