Spotlight Cam Battery Loses Power

I installed a Spotlight Cam device a two weeks ago and put in a fully charged battery. It took a while to identify on my wifi but continued to have a weak connection. The battery is only lasting nearly 3 days before I have to charge. I purchased a 2nd battery and Ring Pro Chime for wifi extender but am still having both problems. When I use Rapid Ring the video is loading forever. It doesn’t show. When I use the Ring app, it shows weak or poor connection. Any suggestions on a fix for the device and battery issues would be appreciated.
