Night Vision Problems

Brand new to the Ring system. I think there is something off with my night vision resolution. Looking for any advice on fixing this issue.

When I activate live view or when a motion is activated in the middle of the night I am not getting a clear(er) picture. I attached a video from when a motion was activated.

Hi @JayA82, do you have any outdoor lighting? Night vision and lens adjustment can be optimized with more illumination of the area. Try testing this with a bright flashlight.

Also, what type of camera do you have? Knowing this will help us give you more information on the motion detection. You may be able to find the information about how the motion works here: ring.com/help

Thank you for the reply. I do have outdoor lighting but it’s not on motion.

My camera is a the stick up cam.
