New stick up cam won't stop updating

After several attempts at setting up this new device, the most recent attempt ended after 2+ hours of the camera downloading updates (at least according to the LED lights). Is there a good plan of action to take or should I just exchange it for a new device?

This exact same issue happened to me. It seemed to resolve itself after I cycled the power and attempted to go through the setup process several times, but I’m not sure if doing that somehow left me on an older firmware. The app does show “Up to date” so I assume it completed.

This is just one of several bugs I’ve noticed with my Stick Up cam, and customer service has not been very helpful or knowledgeable regarding this camera. Also having frequent issues with inability to connect for Live View, non-functional Snapshot Capture, and some odd blurring on the video edges (particularly the left side).
