I bought a Ring Indoor/Outdoor Stick-Up Camera for experimentation, and now my wife wants to be able to see who is at the fromt door. I know there are mounting kits available. Can or should it be mounted on the facing just above the fromt door? Or what about immediately beside the door, or slightly further away from the door?

Hey @KenTr. I recommend to purchase the ceiling mount and install it at a corner angle that looks good from the ceiling to see your front door! This is if you have a bit of an eave to mount this on, that way you are capturing the full body of a person at your door from a corner angle that covers a nice range of your front door’s area.
