I currently have rechargeable batteries in my spotlight cam. Can I wire it up to mains supply instead?
Glad you asked @colin288! Our battery powered Camera devices are not intended to be powered by any other power source, unless stated otherwise. For instance, most of our battery powered Cameras can certainly use a Ring Solar Panel, however, an incompatible adapter or power source would not work. The best way to extend time between charges with a Spotlight Cam Battery, is to have two batteries and a solar panel. Our Community post might also help you avoid battery draining variables.
