Add one more to the list. I just noticed it today but it is possible it has been going on longer. Before even calling Ring I reset the Stick Up Cam by unplugging it and also uninstalled/re-installed the mobile app (Android - Samsung Galaxy Note 9). Didn't work so I called Ring and they had me reinstall the Stick Up Cam using my mobile device. Didn't fix it. Tried a few other things like resetting it from their end and me unplugging it again. Still nothing. Finally, after being on the phone with them for almost an hour, they said they would ship me a free battery to install. I was happy with this obviously but still pushed the fact that this needed to be resolved long-term. The rep agreed. This is clearly a hardware, firmware, or even mobile app issue. I haven't seen anyone post if they're IOS or Andriod users. Might be helpful to troubleshoot. At minimum everyone needs to call Ring and demand a battery until this is resolved.
