I have a security camera set up for my business and I want to know that if I am watching the live feed, will I still get motion detections noises through my chime, while still on live view?
Hey @bkm913. Since the Camera will already be in the Live View and recording that event, the camera will be unable to “trigger” another event (motion event in this case) to then send to your Chime to alert you of motion being detected. I tested this myself to ensure this is the case, and my Chime did not go off when I was in the Live View, and then walking in front of my camera. Please note that once you exit the Live View, the Chime should be able to make the alert for motion detected once there is no longer an-going Live View.
