Is there a reset period after the light and motion has been activated

After my light and motion has been triggered there seems to be a period of time in which it will not reactivate. Is this the way it should work?

Re: Is there a reset period after the light and motion has been activated

Hey @Judyw155, there is a cooldown period for the device, but this can be adjusted based on your settings! This setting is calling motion frequency and it that allows you to tweak your motion detection protocols to provide a balance between consistent alerts and preserving battery life. You can learn more about it in our help article here

Thank you for your help. Just to clarify, is motion frequency the same as motion sensitivity?

@Judyw155 It does depend on your device, as only some devices have a toggle for motion frequency and motion senstivity.  If your device has this toggle/extra setting, then yes, they are different!
