I am interested in the Ring floodlight. The current light above my deck is mounted 15’ above the deck. The deck is 12’ deep, and the deck is 4’ from the ground. I want to know a couple things: 1) will this light sense movement beyond the 12’ deck, i.e. 12’ away from the house, at ground level, and 2) can the light be turned on independently of the motion sensor, i.e. I want to sit out on deck. Will it turn on only when I am moving about the deck?
