Just purchased another battery powered stick up cam and this one behaves differently. The blue light never goes out. It just increases intensity when there is motion and it’s recording. Then dims when it’s idle but the blue light is always on. Unlike the other battery powered indoor/outdoor stickup cam I purchased two months ago that only goes on when there is motion and recording then turns off when it’s idle. Is there a problem with this new camera?
Hey @tico007. The blue LED shouldn’t remain on when the Camera isn’t actively recording. I would suggest resetting the Stick Up Cam and walking through a new setup of it. To reset the Camera, you’ll want to hold down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. Once that’s done, you can walk through a new setup in the Ring App by following the steps under Set Up a Device. Let me know how that works for you!
