I have 16 VDC availabe where I want to put a stick up cam. The power supply providing this is not accessible. It was installed in the ceiling in a porte cochere 20 yrs ago and wires were exteneded to power an old analog camera. Does anyone know iof the stick up cam can use 16 VDC? If not, would stepping it down to 12 VDC for a POE power connection or 5 VDC fro a battery unit be best. I have no idea what the amperage capability of the transforemer is.
