GE Plug-In Switch (Two Outlet)

I just received the GE Plug-In Switch (Two Outlet):

https://shop.ring.com/products/ge-switch-two-outlet-14282

I added it to my Ring alarm and the integration with the Ring app only turns the switch on/off. And even worse, you have to go through a half dozen of menus to get to the on/off switch :-(

And it does NOT have any way to schedule time when lights should come on or go off.

Am I missing something? Right now its pretty useless to me.

Re: GE Plug-In Switch (Two Outlet)

Hey @CrazyCat. The current functionality for those switches through the Ring app is to turn the switch off/on. Although, if you have Amazon Alexa, you can use the Alexa app in order to schedule routines! You can learn more about this in our Ring Help Center Article here. In addition, you can turn the switch off/on through the Alexa app and if you own an Amazon Echo, you can ask Alexa to turn on/off your light as well.

I will make sure to pass on this feedback to the appropriate team, we appreciate you sharing this feedback!
