Question: I set up my Chime Pro and it has a good RSSI in the "Device Health" section of the app, why is the RSSI for my Doorbell still poor?
Answer: It is possible for a Chime Pro to only be linked for the tones to play a sound when the Doorbell is pressed, but your Ring device might not be connected to it as a wifi extender. To connect it follow the steps below.
Open your Ring App.
Select the menu in the top left corner.
Select your Chime Pro.
Tap “Chime Pro Network”.
Check which devices are connected to the Chime Pro vs your wifi network.
Select “Add to Chime Pro network” for anything you would like to switch.
Follow the instructions to connect your Ring device to your Chime Pro network.
If your device is connected to the Chime Pro network already, it might need to be moved to a more optimal location between your wifi router and device.
