@olympicww,
I think using 60-seconds is way too long. It doesn’t take that much time to use the Keypad and traverse the distance between the door while entering/exiting (Keypad normally is placed in the vicinity of the door, so you can conveniently use the Keypad or easily see the alarm current status before exiting).
I have my Entry/Exit Delay set at 30-seconds (the current minimum that isn’t 0-delay). There are requests on the “Feature Request Board” to have Entry/Exit Delays added between 0 and 30 seconds, for quicker individuals. For me personally, I’m satisfied with 30-seconds as a fair trade-off for potential scenarios & situations.
I also have an additional Alarm Keypad on my bedroom night-stand. The volume on that keypad is on high, so I can easily hear the audible “Countdown with Beeping” during the 30-seconds if I forget to lock the door (I think the countdown/beeping is as loud as my alarm clock). It should awake me in the situation I don’t hear an intruder coming in that unlocked door, triggering that Contact Door sensor. But I think that is unlikely too, because of my family’s good habit of always locking the door, and I should hear something like the physical busting-in a steel-clad locked door. Almost every typical house entry door is either steel-clad or heavy wood (but I also realize some people have glass in their entry doors too).
The extra Keypad right there on the night-stand pad has the added benefit of the Police, Fire, and Medical Response team buttons within close reach (if you have the Professional Monitoring with Ring Protect Plan “Plus”), with the added “Panic Button” feature (pressing the “X” and “Check-Mark” keys simultaneously). But other people are content to just have their cellphones on their night-stand, to use the App’s red SOS button Panic feature.

There are several requests on the Feature Request Board to have Entry/Exit Delays added between 0 and 30 seconds for quicker individuals; and requests for louder chirps too like you want. Although there are several regular forum posts about this, the Feature Request Board forum is where Ring Team look to see what people might want. And the more “Thumbs Up” Kudo votes they see there will better get their attention. You should add your Kudo vote, if you like the requesting author’s idea, to help get the attention of the Ring Teams on the links below:

But in my opinion, using 30-seconds (not 60) and having a good habit of locking your doors, should cover most situations.
I hope this information is helpful to you.
