The window sensor on our daughters bedroom stopped working after 1 year - we replaced the battery and no luck. No biggie we just bought another sensor and put it on the same window. I have taken down the old (offline) sensor - but I keep getting an error message when I try and REMOVE it from our list of equipment - so everytime we arm the house we have to bypass that old sensor…How can I REMOVE the non-working sensor??
Hey @MichelleW. To remove the old contact sensor, follow these steps:

Open up the Ring app and go to the main menu

Select Devices and then Alarm Base Station

Find the sensor you are trying to remove and select that

Select the gear/cog icon at the top right

Select Advanced Options

Select Remove Failed Device and then Remove
