You may use a 3rd party Contact Sensor, but it will show as a binary sensor in the app. This means it will be limited to it’s primary function of “open” or “closed”. Keep in mind, the professional monitoring for Alarm only monitors Alarm branded devices, not 3rd party ones. I hope this helps!
