Hi all. Is it possible to set entry delay for specific contact sensors in the app for home mode? For example instead of just having entry delay set for all sensors under home mode can I set the contact sensors on my windows to have 0 entry delay and immediately trigger the alarm and have the sensors on the doors set for a 30 sec entry delay?
Hey @Benlfc. While you cannot set a specific Contact Sensor to have a certain delay, you can set the sensor to either have a delay, or automatically set off the alarm. This is done by telling the system what Placement the sensor have. You can check what the Placement is for each sensor by going into the Ring app > Main Menu > Devices > Alarm Base Station > Contact Sensor (go one at a time) > Gear icon at the top right > Placement. You will see that placing it as a Main Door allows the system to give the delay when that sensor is tripped, and placing it as a Secondary Door or Window will have it automatically sound the alarm.
