You can do that with Alexa or with Simple Commands. If you don’t have any Amazon devices you can get an Amazon dot for $40 or use Simple Commands for free. I’ve b een using all three for the past year and am very satisfied. I do aggree with you that the ommission of a schedule is an oversight.
