We really need this enhancement/feature. Kind of embarrassing they you can dim all the others to barely visible, but this single battery status LED is bright enough to illuminate my bedroom. If no dimming capability, than please consider allowing it to be disabled altogether.
How much information can a single LED provide anyways? Firstly, you have to be standing there in front of it to see that it’s on; secondly, if it were blinking I would open up the app to figure out what’s wrong. However, the app would alert you right away that something is awry, and it can do it from anywhere, and it can provide detailed information. The whole premise of Ring is that you don’t have to wait around to observe an LED indicator in order to know something is wrong… You are always connected to it!
I just don’t see the value of the constant-on green LED. Mine is covered with black electrical tape, and still green light is radiating out from other parts of the enclosure.
