The temperature sensor we had did not report a freeze event. Got to our place on a Friday night and the house was well below 40 degrees. The old sensor we had from the previous alarm service that we had discontinued was alarming in the house but the Ring sensor showed all clear, no issues.
Anyone else have that problem? We just installed it a few months back, is it possible to return defective devices and get a new one? If so, is there a way to test that it would actually work this time? Maybe put it in the refrigerator (not sure if the wireless signal will penetrate though)? Appreciate any ideas.
