Battery low on a Sensor

There is one sensor, where I have to keep changing the battery often.  I hardly touch others.  I use Duracell and fresh ones.  Is this sensor faulty?

Re: Battery low on a Sensor

Hey @Dragon. If this is in regards to a motion sensor, you may want to turn down the sensitivity of the motion sensor to either low or medium, depending on what it is currently at. For a contact sensor, the battery life is estimated at around 3 years, depending on usage. If you already have the settings low for motion or don't open the contact sensor too often, I would recommend reaching out to support at 1-800-656-1918 for further troubleshooting!
