App Alert Tone Only Works On One Device

Ring motion sensor alerts all our devices with a visual notification, but only plays the App Alert tone on one device - iPhone. How do you get the tone to play on any/all devices?

Hey @FOCO-Lars! If it is working on one phone, the best thing to do is to replicate the same in-app settings on the other mobile devices. With the app settings being account specified, this step is simply to confirm the settings look the same in the app across all mobile devices. If some of the other devices are operating as a shared user or guest to your Alarm system, this could explain the difference.

Once the above is confirmed, the next best step will be to uninstall and reinstall the app on the mobile devices that are not notifying as expected. If this concern persists, please check mobile device settings, features, and operating system versions to ensure nothing differs from the Iphone and that the other devices are up to date. Nope… that didn’t work. Settings are exact on each device (multiple devices). App uninstalled and re-installed on iPad. Very aggravating that only one device will provide the audible app alert sound/tone. Any other thoughts are appreciated. Thank you

Thanks for trying that @FOCO-Lars! The only other thing I can think of would be app permissions, bluetooth interference, or a 3rd party security/ cleaner app that might be blocking these notifications/ sounds. If the notification is making it to the IPad and the sounds are not playing, perhaps check the different volume controls as well.
