I will make sure that this is passed onto the appropriate teams for you so that they can be looked into for future to avoid possible confusion with how the integration between the two devices is. I will add on that you can utilize the Linked Devices feature in the Ring app to still link the Doorbell to the Alarm in a way that when the Alarm is going into entry delay or alarming, that the Doorbell starts recording.
