Hi neighbours, we are excited to announce our September 2020 neighbour of the month for our UK Community Boards!
Neighbour of the month is our continued way of showcasing a neighbour who has actively participated in the Community in a positive way and thank them for all their efforts. Whether they’re sharing their experience or starting a new discussion, these neighbours give helpful tips and feedback whenever they can.

How did you first hear about Ring?
I was searching online for a smart alarm system and Ring was the most recommended.

How long have you been a Ring neighbour?
I’ve had Ring devices since May. I started with the alarm and then added cameras to increase monitoring and security.

How many Ring devices do you have?
I have 5 cameras including 2 solar panels, and an alarm system.

Which Ring device is your favorite and why?
I’d have to vote for the indoor Stickup Cams as they record motion from our cat whilst we’re sleeping or away.

On a scale of 1-10, how “smart” is your home?
I think 9. In addition to the Ring cameras and alarm, we have smart heating, smart lighting. and Alexa devices.

What type of smart phone and router do you use with your Ring devices?
Samsung Android phone with a TPLink router.

Have you had any positive, and/or funny Ring stories? If so, what happened?
When we moved home we were finding random items in the garden and didn’t know how they were getting there. After installing a Spotlight Cam we found the culprits were a group of young foxes. The same camera has also recorded some nice moments of the neighbourhood cats playing with each other.

What is your favorite feature about your Ring device?
I like the range of products available and that they can be self-installed. This means we can quickly and easily expand the security of our home.

And for a fun question: What is your favorite dessert?
Strawberry cheesecake. I think I’ll get some tomorrow afternoon
