So, according to the Ring authorized dealers page, if I bought a product from a non authorized dealer, say, B&H Photo for example, I have no manufacturer warranty. My question would be, does anyone know if I have a Ring Protect Plus subscription, would it then be warranted under that plan?
You would need to ask Ring (call them). But the way I read the plan, no. The warranty only applies if the equipment is under warranty when you sign up for the plan. I buy all my Ring devices from amazon (except what is not on the amazon site, then direct from Ring).
One more point . . . if you buy directly from Ring then those purchases are saved in your account. If you buy from amazon or any other authroized dealer . . . better save the receipts.
