Sorry to hear you both experiencing this! I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the Ring app and make sure it is updated to the latest version.
Additionally, please keep in mind that starring a video does not keep it from being deleted after the storage time frame for your area. It’s best to save the most important videos before that time. Check out our help center article on subscription plans to learn more
