Hello. Should my number (owner) be the first emergency contact listed? In some documentation it reads that ring will contact you, then continue to contact emergency contacts in order of list. So I’m a little confused. I’d like to have myself, then 3 others…but I’m not sure this is possible.
Hey @Djdebmusic. For the Ring Alarm, the first contact needs to be the first person you would like to be called. Most owners would like them to be the first person contacted, so you will need to make sure you put yourself as the first contact. Our Central Monitoring Station will consider the owner of the account as the first contact, so it’s always best to make sure the owner’s name and number is under there. Only in situations, like someone being home more often, should they be the first person listed other than the owner.
