Hi @Box_Jockey! While the Google mesh network application might confirm the access point connecting your Ring device, sometimes a manual test is needed. Mesh networks can sometimes fluctuate in nature, but should definitely connect in the most efficient way, most of the time. Try unplugging other access points in the home to see if signal improves when only the closest node is available.

Depending on your Ring device model, some can connect to the 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz frequency. I recommend using the 2.4 Ghz for most dependable signal over distance. Please ensure there are not any major interferences (metal, multiple walls, appliances, solid furniture, etc) between this access point and the Ring device, for the best signal strength.
