I am now using 2 Ring indoor cameras to help support and maintain continued home occupancy for my elderly mother in law. What would make this way more practical and potentially open up the Ring system for a completely different commecialisation angle is to have a mode whereby the App notifies me based on a configurable LACK of motion. I would want to set a start and end time of day during which if no motion is detected for a given period and camera then an alert is sent. The market in wearables technology for elderly care is massive - but there does not seem to be much available in terms of in home monitoring other than crude 2 way emergency talk systems. So I suspect there may be commercial opportunties here for Ring if they explore this. You’re welcome.
