Ring Chime Pro Network

I have recently purchased the Ring Video Doorbell Pro and the Ring Chime Pro (latest model). Both successfully connected to my home wifi however I’m seeing an option in the Ring Chime Pro to connect to the Chime Pro Network. I can’t seem to find much information about what this is or whether it is a preferred option to your home wifi. I live in a two story condo so WiFI signal strength is not an issue.

I’d appreciate any guidance or insight as to which network I shoule be using.

Hey @DoubleNicks. You will want to make sure you connect your Ring Chime Pro to the home wifi network and then the Ring Video Doorbell Pro to the Chime Pro network. Think of the Chime Pro as the device in the middle, helping extend out the wifi, so you will need the Chime Pro connected to the home wifi, and then the Doorbell Pro connected to the Chime Pro network. You will have it so the device health for both devices reflect what I’ve stated. Hope this helps! :slight_smile:
