My z-wave outlet was set up and functional through the ring app. Recently it has lost connection. When I activate the outlet with the button on the outlet, the app functions again for a short period then stops working again. The error message on the app is “Error setting device state, Please wait and try again”. What can I do to make this function properly?
Hi @Artemis. Can you specify which model of Z-Wave outlet you have? You’ll want to make sure it is on this list of compatible devices that work with Ring. If your Z-Wave outlet is on that list, then I’d recommend removing it and setting it back up in the Ring App. This will refresh its connection with your system and should ensure that everything is working smoothly.
