The router is from sky and nothing in the house disconnects except the ring doorbell gen 2, router is 1 metre from the bell, frustrating as help doesn’t address this or is there firmware update?
Hi @Crispynoodle65. I’d recommend checking the RSSI on the Device Health page first, just to ensure that the signal is strong. It sounds like your Doorbell is relatively close to the router, so it’s likely not a signal issue, but it’s always good to rule that out. Check your router settings to ensure the ports and protocols used by Ring devices are open. If they aren’t, you might experience performance issues such as your Ring Doorbell disconnecting. You can also try creating a guest network specifically for the Doorbell to see if that improves the connectivity at all.
