Where is siren coming from? Base station?

too bad it doesn’t tell you in the description of any of the products: Where does the noise come from? Can u lower the volume?

Ring’s product descriptions leave a lot of information to question.

It freaked my dog out the first time he heard it so I don’t wanna trip it again for no reason other than to find out where the siren noise comes from.

Hi @Venice. The siren comes from the Base Station’s speaker on the top of the unit and the siren volume cannot be alerted, but the volume of the Base Station and the chirps that play from it can be altered. You can do this in the Ring app > Main Menu > Devices > Alarm Base Station > Base Station > Audio Settings. Hope this helps for future!
